Micro Finance Program

Micro-finance program is one of the major programs of UNYC Nepal. It has been conducting this program from 2057 BS. The main objective of this program is to help to reduce the poverty of ultra poor people. Under this program, we enroll to those people who have less than 1 Bigha of land holding. We enroll only women in this program because women are comparatively more honest and disciplined in every program activities. UNYC provides loan on the group guarantee provision. 

Under Micro-finance program, it has adopted 2+2+1 loan system. This loan system goes continuously. After one-year completion, the required women can borrow other kinds of loan together with general loan. We charge 20% interest (Diminishing rate) on general loan. 


UNYC Nepal has different 34 Branch offices to provide micro-finance service at the door to door of target groups. Now, it is working in Banke,  Bardiya, Kailali and Kanchanpur district and has plan to go other mid and far western districts of Nepal.

On the financial loan support of Rural Micro-finance Development Center (Financial Institution),Bank of Kathmandu, First Micro Finance Dev. Bank , Prabhu Bank, NMB Bank, Nepal SBI Bank , Sanima Bank, Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank, NIC ASIA Bank,  Kumari Bank, Machhapuchchhre Bank, Mega Bank and Janata Bank Nepal UNYC Nepal has been conducting this program.
