Orientation on Capacity development of government officials on climate change mitigation and adaptation and disaster risk reduction was conducted on 26 April and 27 April. It was conducted two events for government officials and members of CDMC. The content of the orientation was climate change mitigation and disaster risk reduction. Provincial Technical Coordinator of Habitat Nepal Mr. Laxmi Prasad Bhatta facilitated the orientation on both events. Similarly, Contact person of DRR of Rajapur Municipality, Mr. Khushiram Tharu took the session with updating the work of Municipality on DRR. The first day orientation was closed by Nirmala Chaudhary, the Secretary of UNYC Nepal. The second day event was opened by Deputy Mayor Mankala Kumari Tharu. There was participation of Prasadu Tharu, Ward President of Ward No. 3, Rajesh Tharu, Ward President of Ward No. 8 and Prim Bahadur Tharu, Executive Chairperson of UNYC Nepal and Program Coordinator Som Prasad Chaudhary.
