A joint monitoring with Rajapur Municipality was conducted in leading of Monitoring Committee Coordinator Mankala Kumari Chaudhary, the Deputy Mayor of Rajapur Municipality. The monitoring was under the Surakshit Aawash Project, jointly implemented by Habitat Nepal, Rajapur Municipality and UNYC Nepal at Chamakpur of Ward no. 5 and at Fulbari of Ward No. 8.
There was participation of Mayor Dipesh Tharu, Deputy Mayor Mankala Kumari Chaudhary, Chief Administrative Officer Dashrath Budha, Ward Presidents Ramesh Dahit and Rajesh Tharu, Planning Coordinator Ramesh Kumar Pokhrel, Ward Members Thandar Dahit and Janaklal Tharu, Architect Aabhash Chaudhary, Sub-Engineer Ramnath Tharu, Assistant Sub-Engineer Shailesh Chaudhary from Municipality and Wards. Similarly, Executive Chairperson Prim Bahadur Tharu, Program Coordinator Som Prasad Chaudhary, Admin and Finance Officer Prem Kumar Tharu, Sub-Engineer Gyan Bahadur Chaudhary and Social Mobilization Officer Radhe Krishna Tharu were from UNYC Nepal. Almost 95% construction work was completed.
