Three events of land literacy training were conducted by UNYC Nepal for the Mukta Kamaiyas in Rajapur Bardiya. The land literacy training runs for 12 days in the community. The contents of the land literacy is, Introduction of Land and Land Literacy, Land Situation Analysis, Definition of Landless and Legal Provision, Management of scattered settlement, Rights of Land-Legal Provision and Policy, Women’s Rights in Land, Safety of Documents related to Land, Rights of Land Owner and Responsibility, Services Delivering from Local Government, Services of Surveying and Land Revenue Office, Protection of Public Land, Classification of Land and Plan, General Information of Land Measurement, Localization of Good Governance. The land literacy training was facilitated by SMO Shankar Chaudhary.
