The working mechanism of this project is through user committee in the target communities. Working through user committee makes the community people ownership towards any jobs and responsibilities. The community people are major responsible for their safe house. Everyone wants to make his/her home beautiful, safe and strong. Therefore, the project aims to construction work through formation of user committee in the involvement of community people. The project was implemented in Shantipur Village of Ward No. 4, Rajapur Municipality, Bardiya. There are two toles named Mukta Kamaiya Tole and Sukumbasi Tole.
Aiming to task management and construction work, two users’ committees were formed in Shantipur in presence of Ward Member Homepati Tharu and Barghar Sima Tharu. Mr. Shankar Chaudhary and Radhe Krishna Tharu, SMOs of UNYC Nepal facilitated for the formation of User Committees in the communities.
